Zonda_ 0
Where did you get them from? How much?
bazz780 0
awesome gti store online, under 100 pounds all inclusive, say u calling from VR6.OC and what discount they will offer, i got free delivery for mine
Zonda_ 0
Cheers, I found them on Motorsportworld and it says they are ideal for LPG engines so that's a bonus cos I only misfire on gas!
bazz780 0
i went for 8mm and had to break the little tugs that hold the leads in place for it to fit into plastic cover
Zonda_ 0
Strange, it says on the website that the 8mm will fit fine but the 8.5s require filing.
bazz780 0
thats not the case mate, maybe for some it does but it didnt for me, not a problem though, at the same price id rather have the 8mm in the blue look over the standard 7.5mm ones.
Zonda_ 0
I plan on getting the 8mm anyway. Better for the lpg conversion.
kempj1 0
Zonda, this is probably technically a 'Hijack' but how much is your LPG conversion going to cost and where from? Similar engine performnance expected afterwards? This interests me because I'm always harping on about green issues, yet I drive a proper fuel guzzler! Is LPG less polluting than petrol? cadguy77 0
Zonda_> i did start a group buy for Magnecor leads (check group buy section) not so long ago but got no interest on here. If ya like i can forward you details of the suuplier and he might be able to do you a good deal
Zonda_ 0
Hi James. The lpg conversion was done last year and by my estimates it has paid for itself already! It cost £1600 and was done in York. There is no difference in performace although it is slightly thirstier on lpg.lpg has almost no emmissions.cadguy, I saw your post while searching today, I found a guy on ebay who does 10% discount to ebayers. Awsome were cheaper but out of stock.
craggsy 91
I had to shave one side of the lugs of to get my 8mm ones on, I also bought from awesome gti too
