mike 6 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 Just got a set, why do they fit so bad? noticed a few cars at u-dubs had them on wonky aswell.Im having trouble with the clip that fits the indicator behind the fogs. anyone help the fk fog unit looks tiny compared to the origanl fog lights btw Link to post Share on other sites
Earwig 89 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 Well mine did not have such a great fit either.I was told it was because my Bumper is Not a VW bumper but one from R&A......Trouble I have with mine is they are to long and so they look like they are popping out in the middle and don't sit flush. :-(Into the bodyshop this wednesday so hopefully they can sort it out and make it look a bit better than it currently does :-) Link to post Share on other sites

Earwig 89 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 I rang them to tell them they were shite and was told that they fit perfect into the standard VW bumper and NOBODAY had EVER complained before !So I took it that it must have been my bumper !Although now I think about it my VW fogs/inicators fitted without a problem ! :-)Pain in the ass really as they were not cheap when I bought them, like £70 at a show in London and I know people that paid £100 a few months before me ! stockers 1 Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 with the metal clip, you need to bend it toward you a little and get it behind plastic bit when you put it in, me and paul had a real trial and error session with them but once you get the knack they will fit very well Link to post Share on other sites
