Retrim----Front Seats only.

I am toying with the idea of buying a couple of Cobra SideWinders for my VR.

Been looking on Ebay but have not found any Leather seats. But there are a couple of cloth seats.

Anyone have any idea how much a recover in Leather would cost and how difficult would it be to match my black Highline leather that i already have?

I think they will look out of place unless I go for a FULL retrim of the whole car in which case I will forget my idea about the seats in the first place......

you're looking at probably, 200 tokens a seat minimum for a retrim! try dbcartrim.com and ask the question. they are pretty good on price and will pick up and re-deliver the seats to you!

funnily enough i was going to post the same question!, I have a pair of corbeau boss seats in cloth and require a mulberry retrim.. I think its worth keeping the highline spec colour trim after all you paid that bit extra for the highline spec in the first place!

you'll be hard pushed to match the mulberry jake. i think simon has already asked the question of micheal at mj and he says its easier to start again as it will never be a perfect match and always look odd!

for leather they charge by the 'skin' so a seat would probably take 2-3 skins , say £100 a skin, expensive !!!

db charge 550+vat for all seats retrimmed in full leather, thats just under 650 in total so its not that expensive!

Not as expensive as I thought. :-)

Need to set aside £1,000 though coz I actually need the seats to. :-(

k, i just got a quote for mine, whole car with very near plum match from german supplier, £1200 + VAT or retrim new seats with heated mats in two leathers & vinyl backs @ £900 inc
