Ciaran 4 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 well u tend to hear clicks clunks etc if the front engine mount is needing replaced. mine did so i fitted the vibratech mount well worth doing in my eyes. and the engine shouldn't move with the hanbrake on as why would u have it on and be trying to move anyway ?? SankysVR6 1 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 I've spoken to some guys on 'C' forum and they reckon they need changing at about 80K. and one way of testing is to drive the card and try changing gear from 1st to 2nd at about 5K Rpm if hard to go into gear quickly then is probably on its way out.
