purple highline monster 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Report Share Posted January 1, 2006 I know some body shops can lead fill roof dents, it still involves paint though, filler is probably cheaper!! i doubt many 10 year old + cars dont have a bit of filler in them? even the top show ones !! dont know what a dent removal would be like on a roof? its just a panel same thickness as a door but it is very flat so may still notice? and will the headliner ever go back the same???? Matt W 4 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Share Posted January 2, 2006 It depends for dent removals there are two ways the professional dents removers use.They will either glue a pad to the dent and attempt to pull the dent back from the outside. Or they will remove as little trim as possible and use a rod to push the dint back from the inside.From my experience with the headliner you may just be able to remove the trim at the back near the boot and pull the headliner down enough for the guy to get one of his rods in. Then he should be able to massage the dent back and hopefully remove it! Link to post Share on other sites

petervr6 0 Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 yes they will prob have to remove the headlineing ive seen a video of them doing it and they use a metal hook type thing and rub the dent from the inside till it goes flat they have all diff size hooks.
