Rear wheel speed sensor.

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone for reply, I put the car in lock-up on the Friday started it up on the Monday morning and the ABS light came on! I put it into garage to have complete overhaul of rear brakes 2 weeks ago new drilled discs and green stuff pads etc, mechanic said there was nothing wrong with ABS ring or sensor (ie Nor dirt or stones)although he never removed the sensor so I guess it's the sensor, just priced one from GSF

In that cas the mechanic might have moved the sensor silghtly or it have got some dirt on it.

This happend to me when i had my rear disc and pads changed. The light came on couple of days later, had it checked out and was told the sensor was showing fault. Bought a new sensor and booked it in to have it fitted. Couple of days later light went out and has been out since.

Just drive around in it for a few days and see if it settels down. If not just take the old sensor out and give it a clean.
