Nerih 0
you are gonna have to decrease the ET, try a 10-15mm spacer, it'll increase the track and hopefully clear the calipers. you can buy non centric spacers from ebay for a tenner lol, just see if they work, if they do then get a decent set as the ebay ones rust fast, happened to my cheap set, you might have arch issues if you use spacers, if its only JUST not clearing, try 5mm or 10mm.... francisjonno 2
Just a quick warning about non hub centric spacers. I had them on my first car (to clear a strut) after fitting them it felt like my wheels where unbalanced, had them balanced but problem remained.I spoke to a wheel specialist and they said if the wheel can't locate on the hub its possible for the wheel to sit not quiet centric to the hub (even with 4/5 studs tightened!) - making it feel unbalanced. To be honest i've never heard of anyone else ever having this problem (i must just be lucky or something ) so hopefully you'll be alright with them, otherwise you'll have to get a set of hub centric spacers (there's loads of theads about these)
Nerih 0
yep see if they solve the problem, if they do, get proper centric spacers as i said earlier.

francisjonno 2
You do have to be careful with wheel selection on Vr6's and late model GTI's, as clearing the calipers is a common problem (original wheels are a specially designed for this reason)
