Guest sleeper MkIII
i know their software suck and causes the car to run lean. but what about the rest of the kit?in a perfect world, i'd buy a complete AMS kit and just use c2 software. i need it to be an AMS kit cause of smog regs in cali. software can just be changed back before smog, but if i change anything else on the kit i might fail the visual.TIA

mightyvr6 0
The ams kit uses basically the same hardware as the C2 Motorsports kit (both use the same chargers and brackets). The difference between the kits is that C2 use a dual idler pulley instead of a single idler and they place the maf before the charger and use a pressure relief bypass valve and the software of course.Good idea- Buy C2 software and their CAI intake pipe and run the maf before the blower and it will work fine. mightyvr6 0
I mean "they" as in C2 Motorsports. To clarify, C2 run the maf before the charger and AMS locate it after the charger.
