VRmonster 1 Posted August 21, 2005 Report Share Posted August 21, 2005 the thing is, there is no written rule for quotes. are we talking bodywork or engine work? i have many a time had work done to be shown a problem that was hidden before the work was done, so then it will cost you more as it was extra on the first quote. id make sure they understood what you wanted doing, and emphisize that the car is frequently on show stands and in track days, so needs to perform, mechanically and visuall to the highest standard.
