Pittuf 0
My 17" tsw venoms fit with the car lowered about 60mm.I get very small rubbing on the inner arch when hard conering, no probs with the wing arches themselves. It is set stiff as can be though.
Ciaran 4
well the rims are 7" wide and my suspension is set as hard as possible cos i enjoy a sore back!!only problem is the 15's rub at the moment on those stupid plastic bits at the front of my arch but thats cos i took it out and lost half the screws so not put it in properly.now anybody reccomend the cheapest set of good possible!! purple highline monster 0
in theory the rolling diameter of a 7j 17 alloy with a 205 50 tyre is the same rolling radius as a 15" one so you should have the same clearance as you have now, the thing to consider is firtsly put your car trim back as it should be!!!! and make sure the alloys you are after are the correct offset and pcd, offset should be 35-40 and pcd needs to be 5x 100mm to fit your bolt holes (this should be marked on the alloys somewhere), offset can be changed using adapters but this may cause the wheels to stick out further and cause rubbing problems, get a set of wheels you really like though! dont just buy them coz theyre 17`s some 15" look better!!
