BRG 0
have any of you put in speakers on the back shelf? how do they sound compared with just replacing the ropey 17cm jobs in doors, and how big can they get before making the shelf sag horribly cos it seems a bit flimsy. Thinking or wireing the 2 rear speakers to some decent 6/9's or something on the shelf, but not sure if its worth the hassle.I'm in 2 minds at the moment - help!
shail 0
A pair of 6x9 on the backshelf will be LOADS better than the small standard ones in the back. I had some Infinity 2-ways on the shelf on my last golf with no sagging. You'll get shed loads of extra bass basically.
Slim 0
Ugh, 6x9's are awful things.Replace the standard speakers with 6.5" components, it'll sounds 10 times better.

Replace all 6.52 speakers with some decent comps and sub in boot with 2 amps
