If you have all the gear from the donor car then it shouldnt be too much of a probelm but I think you need custom drive shafts made. Link to post Share on other sites

dubloke 4 Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 actually the mk4 vr's are not that much quicker than a standard mk3 golf vr tbh! had a play on the way to the trl a few years back when we followed P1 LET on the way there. not much in it at all and the golf had the edge top end. heavy old lump in a polo and destroys some of its handling ability! a 1.8t would be a much more viable proposition these days!
