Advise on best suspension kit?

HI, sorry if this has been discussed before but after reading through all the threads in this forum I'm still clueless on what suspension kit to go for.

I'm currently running 15s and I'm looking to drop my VR between 30 - 40mm.

Coilovers are out of my price range at the moment, so I need some advise on the suspension kits.

I'm looking for a good mix of improved handling and comfort and don't want to break the bank.

What are the best kits out there?

What kits should I avoid with a passion (definite no-no's)?

You can't go wrong with koni top adjustable shocks & eibach -35mm springs... great handling and you can set the damping to get the ride quality you want
