Building a vr6 12v need advice

Hey there, I'm new to this whole forum thing so try not to beat me up to bad. I am doing a swap into a 1992 vw cabriolet (mk1). The donor car is a 2000vw Jetta (mk4). I am looking at putting eurotuning stage 4 turbo kit on it, however I'm not exactly sure what block work should be done. To handle this type of hp. Just looking for some advice. My budget is around 3k not including the turbo kit.

You didn't really state how much HP you're trying to achieve but a Head spacer is a great idea to the lower compression, you have a less risk of detonation. ARP head stud/bolts is also a good idea

Use a head spacer to lower compression, if your going over 350bhp look at forged internals, especially considering rods. Also got to take into consideration clutch and brakes gearbox e.t.c

The stage 3 turbo kit says around 350hp and the stage 4 is 400hp. I'm going to be going through the whole motor new cams new pistons, rings, crank, timing, etc should I be doing performance parts or just going back to stock?

Depending on what engine code, some came factory with forged iron bottom ends. Just to throw in some info haha
