Vision Next 100 takes the shape of a sedan designed under the influence of i8 hybrid sportscar with totally different details, such as a significantly sleeker body and tall kidney grille instead of wide. The exterior is characterized by sports and extremely aerodynamic lines, while the wheels are completely hidden. As a result of this innovative design the concept has a drag coefficient of only 0.18. With a length of 4.90 meters (193 inches) and a height of 1.37 meters (54 inches) , the model has compact exterior dimensions. Vision Next 100 body is made from a mix between carbon fiber and plastic, while some carbon components such as the side panels are manufactured from recycled or renewable materials. The interior is minimalistic with no screens inside, and all of the needed info is projected on the windscreen directly. Also, like the body is made from recycled and renewable materials. The details regarding the powertrain have not been disclosed yet, but the company has announced that Vision Next 100 concept can work in two modes, offering either manual control or full autonomous driving. Using the Boost mode the driver has all the control, while in “Ease” mode the steering wheel and center console retracts, the headrests turn to the side and the vehicle drives itself thanks to the onboard autonomous driving technology. The concept also features another very important innovation known as Alive Geometry, consisting of almost 800 moving triangles set into the instrument panel and into certain areas of the side panels. They work in three dimensions, communicating very directly with the driver through their movements, so even the slightest peripheral movement alerts the driver about upcoming dangerous situations.
