ibs 308
Need some help guys my VRT broke down on me today. It all started when I came up to a roundabout earlier and the car cut out on me. I started it back up but when it started there was a big cloud of smoke and it started driving as if it had a really bad misfire. I managed to pull in to a bus stop on the dual carriageway I was on and switched the car off. I had a look in the bay and noticed the vacuum hose going to my fuel pressure regulator had split so I cut the section out and reconnected it. Went to start the car back up and it would not start. Tried for another 10 or so mins then ended up calling a recovery truck to get it home. When at home I got my mate to tick it over and I noticed fuel 'pissin' out from in between where the turbo hot side connects to the manifold. I don't have a clue how that is happening. Any ideas? ibs 308
Hi Jay, I took the injectors out last night so I can't try and start it and take pics. I'm going to get the injectors cleaned and tested and see how I get on after that.
