OK, Plans seems set that my engine conversion is going to go a head sooner than I thought, and a few other things, could even land my 2nd feature before im 20! :D Well, I know there are the OBD1 AND OBD2 lumps, ideally, which is the better to go for and were there slight variations within the models?

I knwo the lump to go for complete would be the LATE spec engines due to a higher output, but I'd imagine these would be sort after...

Over those though, I would get a 2.9 lump, but their tooo damn hard to find...

Any ideas would be appreciated....

OBD2 engines carry an improved fuel management system and a four pin (someone correct me if I'm wrong) air meter that seems to be able to handle modifications much better than the OBD1 system.

I've looked high and low for the complete OBD2 management but one on it's own was like rocking horse cack.. OBD2 engines come along reasonably frequently. Just have to keep your eyes open.
