DundeeDub 0
I have the Eibach's, didn't notice too much when the front was put in but when I fitted the rear it was a major differance in handling. Not tried any other ones so don't know the differance.

RIX 0
eibach has 3 models for the vr.
Matt W 4
Eibach has only one for the VR (22mm front 25mm rear) 2 altogther for the Golf 3 (inc. Cabrio). H&R have 3 and only one recommended for the VR or plus axle meaning 5-lug wheels (25mm front, 25mm rear).
RIX 0
they have one that is 25 front and 28 back .
FishWick 21
25 front and 28 I'd only recommend for track use....and dry track use at that! The 25 is a bit big for the front mechanically speaking as it rubs on the chassis legs. 25 is too unrelenting this time of year and without a quaife to dig you out of an understeer hole, you'll end up in a bush I personally like the way the Corrado/MK3 platform drives with a Neuspeed adjustable 25 rear and standard front, or the Eibachs as the front is only a couple of mill larger than the standard one. It's the rear one that does the lion's share of roll resistance and I'd also recommend a rear strut brace. Unlike a saloon, hatchbacks have a vast and unbraced open shell space between the turrets which on VWs in particular, flexes like buggery. Fit a rear ARB and brace and you'll be pretty impressed! I'd fit ARBs as part of a full suspension package personally. ARBs on standard suspension aren't as effective but they do reduce front wheel pitching to good effect though. You'd like them more when partnered with some decent springs and dampers.
Seademon 0
I've got the eibachs front and rear & I think their really good - along with Bilstein coilovers I can get the back wheels off the floor on roundabouts etc (not that I do it on purpose!) I've got a Eibach front brace to fit & will do the back aswell. I dont have any body roll really - having decent tyres is quite important too for good grip, stands to reason really but without the extra body roll you've eliminated all that extra energys gotta go somewhere! FishWick 21
You'll still be amazed at what the rear brace will add despite what you've got already! I have the same setup but with H&R coilovers and adding a rear brace improved it still further.
Seademon 0
Excellennt! Im planning to get the front strut brace fitted at the same time as having poly bushes fitted to the front wishbones and at the rear - is there any in particular rear brace that would be better for the Golf or will they all do the same job? VR6Rich 3
Ive got a Trimsport rear strut brace in mine but havnt done the arb's yet. Think it helped a bit around roundabouts but not that noticable. Had to slightly modify the rear parcel shelf supports to clear the rear strut brace but apart from that it fitted fine. 8-)
