djiceman 131 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 Hi all.After a rolling road at Stealth Racing I was given a short list of errors that I'd like to get sorted.Can anyone shed any light on what needs replacing from the following please:00533 - idle speed regulation - 14-00 adaptation limit exceeded00525 - oxygen lambda sensor (g39) - 29-00 short to ground00522 - engine coolant temperature sensor (g62) - 27-10 implausible signalI haven't experienced anything wrong, runs fine etc.Thanks for the help. Bealieboy 1,625 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 Coolant temp sensor will give odd readings elsewhere so I'm lead to believe. Normally the blue one that needs changing. Hence your excessive fuel consumption on way home. Ecu receives wrong temp and puts more fuel in. Continue from there, I'd say. djiceman 1 Link to post Share on other sites

bennyk 1,238 Posted March 3, 2015 Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 Anyone with a fault code reader of some sort should be able to help, my ones gone up the wall,I could borrow the works one, though if its drinking that much petrol it'd probably be cheaper to get a local garage do it! Fucc me 220 on a tank Before you clear the codes ask who ever it is with the code reader to have a look at your fuel trimsThat will give you an idea about the O2 sensor if itnis actually faulty or not depending on the trim% And as already said the coolant sensor could make things worse Each time I've used techron works fuel additive it's made the car run miles better specially if it's mbeen over fueling for a while it will get rid of most of the carbon build up Edited March 4, 2015 by Mk3highline Link to post Share on other sites
