phil H 0
Hello all.New to the club having taken a 2002 mark 4 VR6 as part part ex against a conservatory roof re build and glad I did. Great car well up together at 98k. the suspension is pretty shot with lots of clocks and knocks we also found the Westside rear lower arm (runs from the body back to the axle) had broken now replaced. The car runs and drives generally well except on roundabouts when the near side rear seems to be on a castor. The tyre is wearing on the inside. Left hand bends and straight line under power is all ok.Is this down to a suspension rebuild overdue or poss an issue with the rear diff. Would be great if anyone has experienced this or can offer advicePhil
VR6Pete 1,455
Welcome to the club Phil You are probably best posting in the "Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering" section of the forum. However if you have had any suspension work then I strongly advise a 4-wheel alignment to get the camber, I probably wouldn't associate a diff issue with wearing the inside of the tire and is more than likely related to camber.
