JONNOS 0
GentsI currently live in Holland and have a german import 2.9 1996 VR6 highline. It is all as original, no mods with 111,000km on the clock. It is in very good condition having passed its MOT equivalent with no work requried (thank fuck)I am going to move back to the UK and dont know if i should sell it or import it. It cost me 6000euros a year ago and have been offered 5000 for it. Is it worth selling and buying a car in UK or just import it. What would a similar age/mileage one cost in UK.Is it a real hassle to import it?cheers for your thoughts
badboyV6 4
A decont highline would probably fetch a similar price here- although it would be LHD so it probably wont fetch as much... Depends if you want to keep the car cos they didnt make a 2.9 highline over here mind you.....
coullstar 2
Nah, sell and buy a new one. Theres plenty for sale over here and the LHD will put some people off. With

acf8181 0
if you're planning on keeping it a long time import it, as it can be hard to find a decent vr6 in the UK,the prob comes when you wanna sell it....you'll find it tough to find someone happy to have a lhd. VR6Rob 0
2.9 syncro? if so bring it back
JONNOS 0
not sure if it is a 2.9 syncro, it is a german car imported into holland which was orginially sold with a corrado engine i think. It came with OZ Racing Rims too. To be honest i am not as fanatical about vr6s as you guys though i love driving it, very very fun.And yes, was offered 5000euros. If I cant get a decent one in the UK then maybe i will imprt it and run it into the ground over next few years. It is still in a great condition.
coullstar 2
Syncro means it will be 4wd. You should be able to tell but have a look underneath and thier should be a propshaft running in the exhaust tunnel. They came with 2.9l from the factory. If it is then dont sell as they were only avialabe over the water.
