el_chriso 0
Is it worth changing engine oil for a track day, if so which oil is recommended? I need to do an oil change anyway and I've got my first ever track day coming up so thought I may as we'll chuck some decent stuff in there.
abvsean 32
I use mobile 1 extended life 10w-60,although its fully synthetic (i dont really need the benifits of it being so, I thought a thicker viscocity at 100degrees would be better for a hot vr lump). other than that just use 15-40w and change after a thrashing doesnt hurt having regular oil changes. id get a sump baffle/windage tray kit welded in from united motorsports or find a r32 sump (being ally they will smash easily) if your gonna be tracking it alot to help prevent oil starvation under hard cornering and excessive crank oil drag, done on mine unsure how much bhp its worth but if it helps the engine then its all good. Lukey. 381
Definitely worth a baffled sump if you're gonna be tracking it a lot
