Rossivr6 0
Got an unusual one on my new purchase... P reg highline. After driving reasonable distance, with the engine off I get a pulsing arking/shorting out noise coming from the main wiring harness connector onto the side of the engine. When touched you can feel a pulse, also along the nearby water pipes. The two could be linked. Has anyone ever had anything similar? This is all with engine off, keys out. Short journeys doesn't seem to have an affect? Thanks ross

CALICO 130
Yes deffinately electric related its the electric water pump that carries on after the engine is switched off. Passenger side rear of engine next to your engine wiring block
abvsean 32
electric water pump on after run but are these not ament to be working even if you just switch the ignition on then off again?
Lukey. 381
Yes they do but it could be just a shagged pump, the shaft could be wobbling etc, take the ht lead cover off and unplug the aux pump, then see if it's still there, 5 min job could narrow it down quickly.
