Check the part number of the coilover as for the VR6 it needs to be 960kg minimum & some if the lower model coilovers only rate at 860kgs Link to post Share on other sites

I'm just curious as I have a colour concept with coilovers on and the VR is standard. I've had a look at them and although there in really good condition there's no rating stickers on them. Bealieboy 1,625 Posted April 5, 2014 Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 Have a look on manufacturers website and you might find that they list only 1 set for all gti and vr6 and a different set for lesser models. I've got weitec shocks and eibach springs fitted this week, they were off a 16v and I'm really pleased with the way the car drives. As marneus says, give em a go!
