So far i have cleaned throttle body changed plugs bought new leads repaired pcv pipe and my car is still hunting . Did not no if it was down to cheap prospark ht leads as the old ones were gone anyways i not notice a diffrence maybe a tiny bit worse since i put these leads on but this is my second set in 2 months Link to post Share on other sites

Just seems worse since i done the leads . I put old ones on tomorrow see what thats like . And i done spark plugs Link to post Share on other sites

wardycatt 7 Posted February 10, 2014 Report Share Posted February 10, 2014 ^^^^^ Coil pack ^^^^^ A few other quick suggestions (before the boss nabs me for skiving): * check the PCV again. If the small vacuum line connected to that is split or loose then you can get a lumpy idle. * check the MAF - unplug it and see what happens. If no change to lumpiness when you remove and/or re-insert it, you may have your culprit. * give the cam sensor a clean as well - once you have the coil pack off, it would be rude not to :-) It sounds like you've covered a few other likely culprits, e.g. leads and plugs. And whilst we're at it, how's the health of your battery? ...in case you hadn't guessed, I think it's electrical. Link to post Share on other sites
