Cooz93 66
Hi guys.. I've got a 1992 obd1 vr and I'm contemplating removing the plastic arch trims for a cleaner look. Depending on how rusty they are(hopefully not very)But was wondering is there a difference between the wings/arches from OBD1 with plastic arches, to an OBD2 without. I.e does the never version have wider arches or are they the same?Cheers in advance:)
Lukey. 381
The metal is the same, the rear bump strip is different though to extend all the way back, but if you're de arching for the obd2 look get some colour coded obd2 strips too. Surreyvr6

Cooz93 66
Also, before I start removing these. How are the secured on? Just so I know how to go about removing them, without damaging. I had a mk2 and they were just held on with 4 or so self tappers, same idea?
Lukey. 381
There are plastic rivets along the lip of the arch, push the middle out and the outer will go loose and pry out
