Marneus 78
Afternoon all,I'm sitting here in a hotel room bored & was thinking about a conversation I had with a guy from work who owns an R32 about what I want to do to the Golf over the next couple of years. We we're wondering if the DSG box could be made to run on the 12v engine? I know it would need to be converted to FWD but could the wiring be sorted? Does the DSG box run it's own ECU or is it an integral part of the engine ECU?This is all theoretical at the moment but I've just been trawling ebay & DSG boxes don't seem to be too expensive.... My other idea is to buy a complete 2003/2004 Audi TT 3.2 DSG & swap everything I need over (or get someone to do it as the wiring side frightens me lol) What do you guys think?
