Help - locked out!

Had my VR stood for about 6 months and the battery has gone dead flat. Problem is - none of the keys operate the locks (always used the alarm which won't work due to the flat battery!)

I thought I'd be a me to remove the grill and get to the bonnet catch. Removed the grill fine but can't get to the @*%#ing catch.

Any advice (other than breaking a window)??

Oh - and it doesn't have locking pins on the doors (so I can't bend the door to pull it up)...

Dam not a nice situation. Just a total guess but I wonder if u could get to any live and neutral wire underneath by jacking it up. Off starter or something that is directly connected to the battery then clamp onto there??

Yeah as above can you not jump start it but earth out the other battery to the bonnet or somewhere and put positive on starter from underneath?

When you do get round to sorting the locks you could do it cheaply and easily yourself, just get a load of the inserts and play around with them until you find the right combo for your key, they are all numbered so you would basically work out the code of your locks like ie 15273512, you can then re blade every lock to work. lemon squeezy.

Did you jump start it via starter motor?

Yep - jacked it up and put the positive from the decent battery onto the terminal on the starter and earthier the other one. Then there was enough power for the alarm to unlock
