Woodyman84 3
The VR is going like a rocket with this cold winter air.Sluggishness down the rev range is gone an its like driving a different carIve felt a small differance in all cars in winter due to cooler intake temps but with the VR the difference is astonishing! If only it drove like this all year round!PS hoping for snow just to see how it copes! michael5556 247
It's because the heat soak is so bad usually on them. The noise of them when it's -6 is epic!!!
craggsy 91
Try a turbo car.....they really go lol
russj249 2
Indeed they do Craig its rather surprising how much difference there is between 0 degrees and 20+.. I always go into summer thinking that I have an issue of some sort, when I think its more a case of warm air doesn't feel as quick!
craggsy 91
I haven't drive mine properly for about 3 weeks now as I have a 50 round trip to work now, so I use my ford focus. I will be using it next weekend to go to the Xmas meal
The Monk 50
It's this weather that I'd love to switch back to the VR. My new 1.9tdi passat is approaching the same mpg figures lol.
