dan_a 1
Hi all,I wonder if I could get some advice on the following issue from the great people out there! :-)My instrument cluster lighting has suddenly stopped working. When I turn on the lights the speedo, dials etc will light up and then instantly go out!?? I have checked the fuse and it's good and eben change the light switch module to no avail.Any ideas peeps? Thanks, Dan
Daverse 175
might be a grounding issue, but i would take the cluster out and make sure the connector is plugged in well and got a good contact, that would be my first place to start looking
dan_a 1
Thought that might be the case. How much of a ball ache is it to remove? Was dead easy on my mk2!
Lukey. 381
Pieceapiss, remove the headlight switch, remove the same trim on the opposite side, remove the 2 revealed screws, remove steering column surround, put steering wheel all the way down, take out the black dials surround. You now have access to the clocks unit.
