adamcollings 0
Hi guys, my VR6 has a Logic 900 alarm and a Sony head unit that is wired into it (it says on the fascia - "FULLY LOGIC CONTROLLED SYSTEM"). I'm just wondering what will happen if I take it out and replace it with a new head unit? Will the alarm go haywire?
CALICO 130
No your head unit is not wired into you alarm different kind of logic. Your stereo should have 2 squarish plugs on the rear just pull them apart from the car wiring loom whilst pressing the lugs on the side and your new stereo should have the same plugs "iso" standard you may need an adapter available from halfrauds or car stereo shop if your wiring has been cannibalized. adamcollings 0
Ah brilliant, it's the original factory head unit so the wires will be uncannibalized haha. Thanks for the help!
adamcollings 0
One more quick question: when you pull the keys out of the ignition, what does the little "beep boppy bop - beep boppy bop - beep boppy bop" signify?
