rsweeney 40 Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 since conversion fuel pump seems much noisier than normal. - i did change fuel pump to vr6 one.When ignition is on i can hear the fuel pump as if its priming however the noise carries on for aslong as i keep the ignition on. like i had ignition on for 5 mins and could still hear it. when car is on at idle i can hear it to.car is 97 and was converted from gti to vr6 with a vr6 fuel pump installed however i kept the same fuel filter from the 2.0gti.
