gavinvr6 0 Posted March 26, 2012 Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 hey guys i need some helpon my way down the a3 last night my car developed a miss fire. then sorted itself out then miss fired again. i ended up having to limp it home for about 70 miles. with it keep doing it.i put it on a generic fault code reader and got the following 3 faultsvoltage terminal 30positioning m. for centre outlets v102mixture adaptioncan anyone tell me what these mean please i really need my car working Link to post Share on other sites

oldmandon 1 Posted March 26, 2012 Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 Sounds like a typical coil pack issue. I had the same problem, intermittent misfire, let the engine cool down, all fine, then as the engine warmed up the worse the misfire got. Replaced the coil pack, no more misfire. See if anyone is local to you who wouldn't mind you having a lend of their coil pack to eliminate this as the cause.Best of luck, electrical faults are always a pain... gavinvr6 0 Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 thats what i thought,the old gal is due a service anyway so i'm going to swap coil pack plugs and leads when i do the oil change. but knowing my luck it will still crap out hence listing the faults found. hoping it might pin point something before i go spending a fortune i dont need to.
