VRmonster 1
i have spax rsx coilovers, (just waiting for the next FK group buy for the konigsports) and i managed to bump the inside of the passenger front wheel on a dodgy protruding curb on a bend at about 50 mph.this was nearly a year ago, since then i have found that i buckled my wheel which was no biggie for me as i just threw it on the back till i get replacements. but also, my camber keeps falling out itself, and i get major +ve camber (top of the wheel is in-over) i have had the bolts off and roughly adjusted the camber to straight, (i have also had it done professionally once and they said it was fine. grrr.) i then tightened the bolts up again. but after jacking the car up on the drivers side, i found the camber has gone bad again, and it also happens if i drive the car hard for an hour. it is that bad that the tyre is starting to rub on the springs, leaving me with a crease in the tyre sidewall, not deep but it is scaring me.i have no idea how to sort this, would new bolts help or should i get some big spring/locking washers for it? VRmonster 1
well the car was in for an mot the other day, and i asked the guy to pay close attention to that corner, and he reported everything to be fine. si ive now fitted some custom made spring washers (dodgey i know!) and ive been throwing the car around for a couple of days and im going to check on it tomorrow and see if its adjusted itself. hopefully not, then i can just get some new bolts and some proper washers and re fit em all.
