briscoe 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 my rev counter is tempremental and works when it feels like it. can someone tell me what revs the car is doing in 5th at 80mph just so that i know. as i mine tends to just jump from 0rpm to 4500rpm at 80mph which i thought was too high imho.cheers,nick Link to post Share on other sites

Seademon 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 Does sound a bit high - mine sits 3000 @ 70Mph so it wont be much more than that, definately not 4500Rpm - as Shail said his sits at 3100 so I would imagine most VR's will be around the same but if you have a non-standard gearbox it'll be different. acf8181 0 Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 its 3000 i think...i used to have a speedo prob so had a bit of paper with the revs/gears on stuck over it! hehe2600 is 70, then for every 10mph it goes up about 400rpm....i fmy memory serves me correctly. not that i looked at the paper much as you tend to know what speed you're doing.[ Edited Thu Mar 10 2005, 06:24PM ] Link to post Share on other sites
