U will need adaptors to convert the hub to suit merc, or porsche wheels.

The tool you speak of will be used to wind the 2 ring nuts up or down to adjst your ride height. You can simply use a tape measure on the visible thread to get an even height all round.

What wheels / tyres are on the car currently?? Check the tyre and inner arches to make sure they are not rubbing.. (most tyres over 205 will run without having your arches rolled)

the coilovers have two metal rings on them mate an adjustment ring ( the top one ) and a locking ring ( the bottom one) the tool is a c-spanner, jack the car up and try and lossen the bottom locking nut off first, this could be easy or they wont move at all depending on how old the coilies are and how they have been looked after ! It may need a hammer and bolster in order to free the locking nut or some heat, once you have got them free you can wind them up but a few mm either side until your happy, you may need to wind the gearbox side one up a little more as that side always seems to sit lower due to the extra weight. Once they are free cover them in copper grease, and I do mean cover them, in order to stop them seizing up again :)

As said above porsche / merc wheels will need different stud pattern adaptors to get them to fit, these are about £200 a set with the bolts and you can buy them on ebay :)
