oldmandon 1
What brand and model are they? What are you gonna do to the car then, as you mention a strip down?
bethslad 1
They're dotz alpha wheels mate, as for the strip down well as to what will be getting done depends on what i find when working on it , i know the floor is solid so no worries there but the bodywork needs a tidy up especially the back end so it will be getting a respray at some point, the horrible clue textile interior is coming out and being replaced with black leather, I've got a stainless exhaust system to go on also and the engine has a wee oil leak from the rocker cover gasket so after that's sorted ill need to clean the engine bay aswel, so im hoping it all goes well and i don't find to many other problems but ill update on the forum. bethslad 1
No worries Ian i didn't think they would be to everyone's taste but i like them on the car and to be honest they look better in person rather than in a picture
oldmandon 1
Cool.... Good luck with the build, recon the wheels will suit the car better when it's had a new coat of paint. Would also help if there wasn't what looks like a oil stain round the edge of the wheel!!!!!
bethslad 1
I was going to recon the original wheels but there in that much of a state with de-laquering and the last drivers desire with hitting kerbs that the cost of having them referbed was lets just say expensive so worked out cheaper buying new wheels, thanks for the good luck wishes on the rebuild im hoping it all goes well:-P
