bungy 2
I've been looking at Vibratechniks engine mounts and they come in road or competition. Any one had any experience and have any views. Will the competition ones be too harsh or the road too soft? Any hints on fitting on a BDE engined 4mo?
Ben Seabrook 4
I have fast road on the vr mate and they were awesome stopped all the engine movement and the front felt much more planted in corners a very very worthwhile mod inmo
J5KE F 0
Hi matey, have had vibrtechnics mounts b4 and found them hard.. Not sure what ones unfortunately. Though i must say the car felt far more solid and there was a noticable difference in delivery..? It span up much quicker and generally felt what i would class as 'good' maybe agressive..I may be talking poo to those that critisize but thats just my opinion
spadam 7
On my vr I had solid front and competition gearbox. Transformed the car. Currently looking at updated mounts for my 4mo along with a ecs dog bone mount from awesome.
bungy 2
I've already done the dog bone mount but the 2 engine mounts need doing. I like the idea of going for the competition ones but will speak to a few people before committing to the £300.
J5KE F 0
Make ur own solid front for a start.. Thats the general advice from most tuners ( i think) then uprate the rears..
Ben Seabrook 4
the only thing I have heard of as a negative with the competition ones is cabin shake mate from them being too hard but that is only on mk3's
craggsy 91
Well according to my receipts mine are from ECS tuning
