filtee 0
Hi all, just a quick question, Im gonna buy some of those cheap bbs copies and wondered if i'd be ok putting 9s on the front as well as the rear. 7.5s just arent wide enough. The arches are gonna be rolled and pulled etc. Will they look daft? will they rub? what offset is recommended? thanks. 16" by the way.

J5KE F 0
Think its ok in here dude.. I think 9's on the front will be a tad ambitious.. I'm sure someone like ben will be along soon to let us know!
Ian_rogers 0
My mate runs 9s on his mark 3 and he had to chop the arches to get them to fitIt mainly depends what size Tyres ur gonna run
filtee 0
On my last golf which had 9's on the rear, i had 215'35s on. When you say chop the arches do you mean inner?
Ben Seabrook 4
yeah you can do 9's on the front - tyres would need to be either 215/35 or 195/45 I would think you will defo need to do some archwork - rolled or flared whatever especially if your car is low,add a bit of camber to them too and as for offset something around the original of 35 or a little more so the wheel will sit further into the arch but then you risk inner arch scrubbing !! craggsy 91
I had 9s all round on my VR....Borbet T ET15 all round. Had to have the arches rolled and raised the car up a tad but was fine............and looked awesome.I changed em as I wanted bigger brakes and they wouldnt fit over 312s
filtee 0
I wouldnt really need to get the front arches rolled or pulled if i just went with 7.5s would i??
