any i've missed off this list? also, i got some of the dates/changes from a parkers guide so not sure on the accuracy.

’92-’93 Distributor system replaced with coil pack. ABS control unit moved form passenger footwell to under rear bench.

Oct ’94 Immobiliser fitted as standard

Dec ’94 Diagnostics port changed form 2x2 plug, to 16pin plug. Drivers and passengers airbag added.

Apr ‘95 Substantial revisions, obd to obd2. ‘Highline’ launched

’96-’97 Top double row timing chain replaced with single row chain.

think this might have been earlier as mine is a 1993 but has the 16pin plug, this may have just been a vento thing though i don't know

yeah, thats could well have changed earlier on the vento...i know they updated stuff on the mkII jetta before they did on the golf.

have you seen my request for a wheel pic? as you have wheels i need the pic of (presuming you still have them)

mine is a K 93 on the logbook, but the abs ecu is in the passanger footwell, so it will have been a late change. not sure what you meant by 92-93. just to let you know tho.

well, i will be checking chassis no's on etka when i get the motivation.

what date is your car registered?

i suspect your car was registered late...as its quite common for dealers to not register cars till they sell them...and sometimes end up having them for upto 6months. so that explains your car in my mind. you've also got a dizzy aint ya?
