asdf205 0
I have just changed my injectors and now there is black smoke at idle and more smoke as the revs rise. Is this down to the injectors?
bungy 2
If it didn't do it before the change then it is very likely. Are they a different size and has the map been changed to suit?
asdf205 0
They are slightly bigger. The map is actually meant to be run on these injectors (c2 map) and before it was running slightly lean. The car is actually running alot smoother now it's just the smoke that's the problem. Could I have done anything else while changing the injectors that could cause this?
legvw 0
Are you running the correct fpr with your new injectors?
asdf205 0
I am running a 4bar fpr. Its running a v2 charger at 11/12psi and 315cc injectors with a c2 motorsports map. Could I need the standard 3 bar?
J5KE F 0
Definatley over fuelling me thinks..Check ur plugs and either get it remapped or swap ur fpr or injectors back..?
rodney 17
defo need a remap for a change in rated injectors. You need to change back asap. then redo just before you remap. This will stop excess fuel being dumped in to your CAT and killing that quicker than normal. When you swap back give the plugs a good clean so it runs okay again.

Lukey. 381
dont look for a proper bosch FPR on ebay, ive tried a few time and theyve always been crappy chinese copies then sent them back and got a full refund, which is just a waste of time. I did run the first one i got and it failed after like 2 weeks, you should be able to get one from a motor factors though, a proper bosch one.
