The Monk 50
Hi all.New problem this time.No matter where or how quick, the engine, after being revved cuts out. This only happens though after it has exceeded its idle speed in neutral or if i depress the clutch till the revs would hit idle.... then it just cuts out but will start again strait away.Im guessing an idle sensor issue, where on OBD2 is this located?CHEERS
craggsy 91
The idle on a OBD2 is done with the TB itself
legvw 0
You could try re-setting the throttle body.

The Monk 50
D/C'd the battery and cleaned the TB. Just spent the past 40 minutes in stop start traffic restarting the engine.Scanned the ECU for fault codes and there were none.I've gone over all vac points ect for air leaks. Now, there are none. At a bit of a loss now.If it keeps doing this, the passat will go on the road and I'll be scrapping the Golf. There are just too many issues popping up all the time.
