VR6Pete 1,455
I asked this question while getting my MOT on my punto other week... He said if a car is fitted with ABS and the light doesn't come on at all, or stays on indicating a fault it's an MOT failure. I've now fixed my ABS.. Easy fix in the end...what's wrong with yours? Have you had it on Vag Com? Chances are it's just a wheel sensor... Cheap as chips and it's a DIY job...

VR6Pete 1,455
That is strange mate... unusual for all 4 to be gone...There's a front ABS sensor on here for sale atm... buy it, fit it... if it still comes up with that as a fault, then you know the issue is NOT with the sensors and therefore not worth changing them....Post up the VAG-COM error codes...If you are OBD2, then you will need to swap the ECU and Pump as they are 'matched' up... could be more of a wiring thing... have you checked all the plugs on the ABS ECU / Pump to make sure they are not corroded or anything?
