gary_auto 1
Hello i got a afr gauge and want to wire it up. i guess the o2 sensor in the manifold isnt wideband? so i got a wide band sensor and theres a spare hole to plug in a sensor on the exhaust, can i wire the gauge to my wide band sensor and it will work or does it need to be wired into the cars ecu somehow???bit of a radom question just thort someone mite know thanks
FishWick 21
If you want to just monitor the AFR, then plumb the supplied Wideband probe into a spare hole in the Downpipe. Some Widebands have a simulated narrowband output, which can connect to the ECU to control the fuelling, but to be honest the factory item probably does a better job.
