breeza18 0
hello all, just bought a cheap second hand head that im planning to rebuild over the next few months. gonna completely strip the head off all the valves and take it for skimming. 12 new valve stem seals. does anybody know how much valve guides cost to replace and whether there worth doing if not worn? also anything else im missing? while its all off the car i will be port matching the inlet manifolds to the head aswell.cheers Ash

DanH 1
Guides are only a couple of quid each (GSF) if your fitting them yourself or just fancy doing a full rebuild for the experience/whatever then go for it......or if they ain't broke don't fix it....
