dragon_vr6 0
Thinking of getting a supercharger from stealh however unsure about a few things. 1- Do they run well with other mods such as cams or inlet manifold. 2- If put on a standard vr6 would you get the 174 to 250hp increase claimed3- Are they reliable for daily useCheers
VR6Pete 1,455
Hi there....They run well with mods or no mods to be honest, however with each mod you will have to get the ECU remapped. coupled with cams and a schrick VGI, you will be running some nice power...... 270BHP + I recon with cams and VGI...not many standard VR6's run at 174BHP to be honest so you will will probably find with a good map you will be well into to 250BHP region.Reliable.... depends on how hard you drive it! mightyvr6 0
1. You can use it with a Schrick Vgi or standard manifold. 256, 248 or stock cams would work well an s/c. Cams are more for mid range torque than peak power.2. Stage 1 (6 psi) should give 250-270 hp, 230-240 lb ft torque. Perhaps a bit more with vgi, cams and a remap.3. They are pretty reliable. I've covered 30k miles with no issues.
