Tomo 0 Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 Hi everyone, I'm on the hunt for a mk1 caddy cos they're seriously cool and i can cart my bikes and stuff around without having to try and fit them in my vr6 (also gd excuse to start a collection )Does anyone know of any uk clubs for caddys so I can find classifieds and info on what to look for when buying one, cos i know very little about them, or if anyone has any useful pointers ?! I'm thinking of putting a 16v and gearbox in so it needs really to have a gd shell above mechanics, will the engine and gearbox fit in easily?Cheers!!! Link to post Share on other sites

binliner 0 Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 there wasn't many caddy sports made (about 250 I think)... they were basically a 1.8 gti caddy complete with a clipper body kit.... only available on a J plate and only came in white with red graphicsI nearly bought one last year but at £2500 it was a bit too expensive... proper cool though Link to post Share on other sites
