JasLad 0
Hi Guys,Quick query really, firstly fantastic forum, best one iv come across for VR6 info!Basically I have some 16" Keskin KT4's running 195/45/16's, they rub on the outer edge, I believe because they are ET20, I believe that the 17" TT Comps are ET35? With some 195/40/17's would these rub? I'm wanting to go quite low as I have Weitec coilovers and intend on making the most of them! Thanks in advance..

Would I need to go the whole length of a 195 tyre or would a 205 suffice, as the 195's are quite an odd/expensive tyre
HAMMER_VR6 0
Car looks good with the comps mate, suit the vr6.What do you mean buy et45 originally??????not sure on what tyres you should use, i run falcon 195, 40 17, they look brill
JasLad 0
I just mean the OEM wheels are ET45..Have you any pics of yours on the 195/40/17's buddy, how low are you with yours? No rubbing at all?
HAMMER_VR6 0
obviously mine arnt comps, but they are 17x 7.5" wheels et35 with 195x40x17tyres and 8mm spacers. No rubbing, but rear arches have been rolled. But if you dont run spacers you should be ok.Also in my experience different tyre brands can very in size drastically,My falkens are narrower and give more stretch than my yokohamas did, even though both same spec. VeedubVR 0
205s will be fine on them, unles you space them out, which I'd advise for the rear ans they sit quite far in. Falkens tend to give the most stretch iut of most tyre brands. If you space them you'll have to get the arches rolled. What's brakes you running?
JasLad 0
Just standard brakes on the car atm, im thinking the 195 would be a safe bet and will future proof it if i do decide to space?
VeedubVR 0
Yeah 195/40s will be fine.
