I had a problem last week which I thought was to do with the ISCv valve.

This problem has now gone away but I'm now left with a petrol leak.

I thought there maybe a problem with an injector or the fuel rail so I have stripped the inlet manifold to gain access to the injectors and fuel rail.

No signs of a petrol leak there but when the ignition is switched on and i can see petrol squirting from a component which I not sure what it is.

It is located in the middle of the 6 inlets and is under the inlet manifold and secured to the engine.

It is like a large mushroom with a tiny hole in the middle and has a largish pipe connected to it which seems to go to some sort of filter at the bottom of the engine.

I need to know what this is and why is it leaking so. Is it broken?

Thanks for the help guys

Phil
