probert993 0 Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 i managed it and im only an amateur mechanic, just a matter of undoing front and rear mount jack up engine, release tension off drive belt remove pulley replace pump then do all in reverse, thats only very basic but it aint that hard, should be loads of write ups online too , i do most my own work saved a fortune this car is easiest i have ever worked on to be honest ! dickie_vr6 0 Posted January 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 my vr is at me uncles tyer place while a try and sort out my earler post (running probs plese help) while playin a roung with relays there was a squel comeing from pulleys a sake the lads in MOT place next door and the sed it was water pump.they qouted me £300+part (but they did say it would rocket up a lot more if the had probs with bolts with it being an older car)any 1 from newcastle durham area know were best 2 take it?
